Pumps for the oil & gas markets

Pumps for the oil & gas markets

Albany have been supplying pumps for many uses in the world’s oil & gas markets for over 50 years. Turbines and compressors from a number of manufacturers incorporate API 676 Albany pumps; these include the main, auxiliary and emergency pumps for critical lubrication duties.

Differing positive displacement pump requirements in the refineries are often satisfied by Albany gear pumps and twin screw pumps.  Requirements might be for pumping high or low viscosity fluids.  Our gear pumps have some ability to self prime, and screw pumps are often used for multiphase requirements such as line stripping.

This is also the case in transportation with Albany’s twin screw and gear pumps being used for loading and off-loading, and for stripping loading arms on docksides. Both road and rail loading and off-loading are catered for by Albany’s twin screw pumps which are also widely used in distribution pipelines.

Albany’s foam concentrate pumps are found in Fire protection systems in all areas.

API 610 centrifugal pumps can also be provided through Shin Nippon Machinery, represented in the U.K. by Albany.

Customer’s paint, quality and documentation requirements can be satisfied.
